Vodafone World Of Difference and Job Opportunities‏

Today sees the launch of Vodafone World of Difference 2011. This is an annual event that Vodafone run to support charities and at the same time give individuals the opportunity to devote time to work for a charity and get paid. There are 500 vacancies lasting eight weeks available across the country. Please ensure all relevant candidates are made aware and encouraged to apply.

Vodafone UK World of Difference programme key information:

  • The programme is open to any UK or Channel Island citizen over the age of 18.
  • The placement can be full-time over two months or part-time over four months with a minimum of 15 hours a week.
  • The closing date for entries to the programme is 22nd November 2011
  • The chosen 500 will be contacted by email in January 2012
  • Entrants will need to approach their chosen charity, agreeing their placement terms before applying to the Vodafone’s World of Difference programme
  • All placements will need to begin in March 2012

  • Once winners are selected, the Vodafone Foundation will pay their chosen charity a total of £2,500 with winners getting the balance when all tax and National Insurance has been paid.
  • Charities will also receive £250 towards expenses associated with enrolling and employing the winner.
