TNT Field Mapping Executives Across Greater Manchester

Employer Suite will be holding interview days for TNT postal on Wednesday 26th June and Thursday 27th June 2013

The initial recruitment is for Field Mapping Executives across the Greater Manchester area working out of the Denton Office

Salary is up to £7.58 per hour working 37 hours per week 5 days over 6 (Mon-Sat 8am -4pm)

The recruitment process involves an online test which will take between 30-40 mins followed by an interview so candidates will be at the Suite for approx. 1hour.

Candidates must have the essential experience as outlined in the job description and their Right To Work documents.

Contracts are initially for 3 months with the potential of becoming permanent

TNT are keen to attract Wage Incentive where possible and this is the start of a much wider recruitment for TNT across Greater Manchester.

Job Description

Job Title: Field Mapping Executive
Company: TNT Post UK Ltd
Department: Operations – End to End Network
Location: Delivery Unit/Field Based
Responsible to: Field Mapping Team Leader

Main Purpose of Job:
Assist the Regional Mapping Manager in the reviewing, planning and amending of delivery routes and the coordination of access information. You will be an expert in reviewing I.T generated routes on a field basis and providing detailed reports to head office with the view to creating highly efficient round plans and optimal delivery routes for Delivery Operatives.

Main Responsibilities:
Field Mapping/Access Analysis
• Assist the Field Mapping Team Leader to provide a high quality link between the delivery units and head offices in order to review, plan and amend delivery routes ensuring the relevant systems are updated as required
• Manually reviewing routesmart routes in the field to ensure accuracy and time efficient of the round plan
• Design and recommend amendments to routes in order to provide optimum delivery solutions
• Conduct assessments of multi-occupancy properties i.e internal/external measurement analysis, access solutions, delivery options etc with the view to providing an optimal delivery service to these properties
• Co-Ordination of property access information. Documenting delivery critical information
• Highlight major concerns with planned routes to the Field Mapping Team Leader in a time efficient manner

Customer Service
 Act in a professional and courteous manner when dealing with both internal and external customers demonstrating at all times the recognition of the customer as the primary focus of work throughout the delivery team.
 Recording and reporting customer feedback appropriately for escalation to Team Leader and other parts of the business as necessary. In the absence of the Delivery Team Leader act as an escalation point for customer and client feedback.
 Support the Delivery Team Leader and Delivery Manager in investigating, reporting and identifying resolutions to enquiries and complaints
Housekeeping at the delivery unit
• Responsible for the security, cleanliness and maintenance of TNT equipment. Reporting any issues for technical repair according to TNT processes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at the Delivery Unit.
Administration and Reporting
 Undertake basic administration to record activities and report against key performance indicators (KPIs)
 Prepare and deliver daily reports outlining amendments needed to planned routes to the Field Mapping Team Leader
 Keeping accurate administration logs of work completed
 Adhere to and support the maintenance of all standard operating procedures in the delivery unit/mapping team

 Full and comprehensive work history for up-to 3 years (where appropriate)
 Basic Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) disclosure will be required for all posts
 The ability and willingness to work Saturdays as required
