Job Title: NCS Partners Coordinator

To provide a key point of contact for JCP and related partners for National Careers Service awareness raising activity, driving up demand from customers and supporting front-line staff. This is a lead role for partner operational relationships with a key focus on Jobcentre Plus, to co-ordinate, manage and monitor all related National Careers Service awareness activity across JCP offices and other related partner venues across Greater Manchester.


Personal Performance:
Highly effective coordination, communication, preparation and support for all related NCS awareness activity across Greater Manchester with a specific focus on strengthening positive working relationships, increasing NCS co-location and monitoring impact on customer take up.
Strong collaborative working with the National Careers Service management team, delivery network, Jobcentre Plus staff and related partners, to coordinate, monitor and report on activities across the 31 Jobcentre Plus offices in Greater Manchester, to successfully achieve the regional targets.
Timely and accurate collation, interpretation, updating and dissemination of data and information to support all reporting periods.
Maintaining to a high standard all associated service delivery records/documentation/systems.

Job Specific activities will include:
Presenting succinctly and professionally to partners and colleagues on the National Careers Service aiding them to utilise and integrate the service.
Coordinating, designing and delivering awareness events and workshops for staff both on and off partner premises, evaluating and reporting on impact.
Promoting and extending co-located JCP offices and reporting on JCP co-location target, troubleshooting issues in connection to co-location including NCS branding and broadband/internet access.
Liaising with senior level JCP and other partners and operational staff.
Coordinating JCP partnership meetings, producing succinct agenda’s high quality minutes and papers.
Monitoring JCP referrals to and from the service by individual JCP office and feeding back to NCS providers on trends.
Analysing data and producing high quality progress, impact and analysis reports.
Keeping fully abreast of JCP Skills Conditionality Mandation and acting as a conduit between the NCS Network and JCP offices for smooth running of the new mandation process – troubleshooting systems and process issues as required.
Keeping abreast of changes within JCP and partner services and feeding back to the NCS provider network.
Other related tasks as required by Managers, Head of National Careers Service or Director.

Reporting requirements:
Collate and produce timely and accurate reports to meet deadlines on all aspects of the role.
Provide other adhoc information on request by Senior Management Team.
