J OB VACANCY

Mind Your Money is an exciting £1 million

programme that is giving social housing

tenants across the city the awareness and

practical skills they need to manage their

money and build financial confidence, helping

them avoid loan sharks, payday loans and

falling into a spiral of debt.

As project manager you will be responsible

for the co-ordination of the Mind Your Money

project, ensuring the key priorities and

project officers and one participation worker

who are responsible for the day-to-day

delivery of core project activities.

You will be a key link between other

organisations and stakeholders involved in

the project, working closely with them to

ensure the Mind Your Money partnership

operates effectively and efficiently. In

overseeing the project, you will also ensure

Big Lottery funding conditions are adhered

to, and that progress and performance are

regularly reported to the project board.

We are looking for someone with proven

project management experience who can turn

their hand from managing budgets and

analysing data to motivating a team and

presenting to stakeholders. You will also have

good knowledge of issues surrounding

financial inclusion and welfare reform.

Could you help prevent some of the most vulnerable

people in Manchester from falling into a spiral of debt?
