Home-Start is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under 5 years of age. Volunteers offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families facing difficulties helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown. The following posts are required to join our enthusiastic and professional team.

• Business Administration & Finance Officer required to manage a busy office and work as part of a team to provide business/administration/financial support to staff and trustees. The post holder should have excellent MS Office skills, a solid financial background, experience and knowledge around inputting data and Quick Books accounting systems. Strong organisational and communication skills also required.

• 2 p/t Coordinators required to play a key role in assessing and reviewing the needs of families and ensuring that volunteers are effective in supporting families in their own home. The post holder(s) will be responsible for recruiting, training and supervising volunteers in their role. The ability to prepare and deliver training and presentations, also experience of selecting, recruiting and training volunteers is essential.
