In Manchester there will be 2 ways applicants can apply:

If successful, you will be invited to attend an Assessment Day.

  • Attend an Open day where you will be guaranteed a place at the Assessment Day.

The Open Day Will be held on the 24th January at  The Manchester Employer Suite, to give potential candidates an insight into JCA and the Activity Instructor role. The presentation will take about 30 – 45 minutes, followed by a period for any questions and answers. Applicants who subsequently wish to apply for the role will be booked into an assessment day on 25th January. You must apply online immediately after attending the open day to ensure JCA hold all your personal details in preparation for the Assessment Day on the 25th January.

The format of the Assessment Day (25th January for successful applicants only) is a group presentation in the morning followed by a DVD and group exercise. Candidates will complete all necessary paperwork required for the role (CRB etc). More formal 1:1 interviews will be held in the afternoon.
